Antoinette grew up riding and spending time around barns throughout New Jersey, experiences that instilled a lasting appreciation for the sense of community that naturally forms around shared spaces. Professionally, she has worked in marketing and strategic development, helping build brands and launch new ventures. Alongside her lifelong interest in horses, Antoinette has always been passionate about wellness, fitness, and creating environments where people can gather and build meaningful relationships. She is also married to an Italian immigrant whose experience moving to the United States highlighted how difficult it can be to find the everyday sense of community that exists in many parts of the world—an insight that helped shape her vision for The Sage.​

Cleopatra also grew up riding and developed a deep appreciation for the culture and friendships that emerge from equestrian spaces. Professionally trained in organizational leadership and human resources, she brings strong operational expertise to The Sage, including experience managing teams, building systems, and cultivating professional communities. As the daughter of first-generation Greek immigrants, she was raised in a culture where gatherings, shared meals, and close relationships are central to everyday life. That upbringing shaped her belief that thoughtfully designed spaces centered around wellness and hospitality can bring people together in meaningful ways.

Antoinette and Cleopatra first met as children at the same pony camp in New Jersey and have remained close friends ever since. As adults, they often found themselves discussing the types of spaces they wished existed—places where people could gather, exercise, spend time outdoors, and build real community. While their shared love of horses influenced the setting, their vision extended far beyond riding. The Sage was created to bring together wellness, community, nature, and equestrian tradition within one countryside property—offering a place where members can escape daily routines and experience a deeper sense of connection.
